Broom Bezzums on Tour with Show of Hands
At the end of September, Broom Bezzums will be doing a 6-date support slot for Show of Hands from England. Show of Hands are widely acknowledged as the finest acoustic roots duo in England. Knightley, who writes most of their inspired material and Beer, a dazzling multi instrumentalist, have built up a huge following which has seen them sell out the Royal Albert Hall three times, headline major festivals from Glastonbury to WOMAD and playing all over the world, from Europe to America, Australia and India.
Full details of the dates can be found on the Broom Bezzums website

We are happy to be able to announce that the new Broom Bezzums CD will also be released on Steeplejack. We have agreed on new deal that will link us and the Bezzums, who are rapidly becoming one of the best folk acts in Germany and the UK, for the next four years.
The new CD is being produced by Jürgen Treyz from the well-known German band “Cara” and should be ready for the autumn.

German Folk Songs CD Project
After 10 years living and playing folk music in Germany, Andrew Cadie decided it was time to get together a rabble of fellow musicians and go on the trail of German folk songs.
The idea behind the project, is that folk musicians from the British Isles, Ireland and the USA, resident in Germany, arrange and sing a selection of German songs (that may or may not be so well known) in the same way they would approach a manuscript of an old song from their own tradition.
